Laplace Residence
Laplace Residence is an 18th-century apartment in Paris, restored by architect Luis Laplace and his partner Christophe Comoy as a home shaped around art, collecting and everyday life. Originally part of a hôtel particulier built in 1744, the historic space was carefully revived during an eighteen-month renovation. The original ceiling heights were restored, while antique parquet, hand-forged gilded details and carefully selected artworks reinforce the character of the interior. Rich wood, deep colours and tactile textiles create an intimate atmosphere where historic architecture and contemporary art coexist naturally. The result is a space that feels both like a private residence and a personal gallery.
