Date is an expressive figurative painting centered on two figures seated together against an intense red background. A bouquet-like arrangement of flowers introduces an intimate narrative element, while bold turquoise, yellow, orange, black, and blue tones create vivid contrasts throughout the composition. Energetic brushwork, distorted forms, and richly textured surfaces transform an everyday encounter into an emotionally charged scene open to personal interpretation.
