Mayfair Victorian Apartment

This small Victorian apartment in London’s Mayfair was reimagined by Faye Toogood as an immersive and highly personal interior. Rather than treating the project as a conventional decorating exercise, the designer approached the apartment as a complete environment, developing custom elements and introducing pieces from her own collection throughout the space. Deep slate tones, moody blues and rich tactile materials establish an intimate atmosphere. Modernist furniture is placed alongside traditional forms, while rural references, contemporary art and urban influences create deliberate contrasts. Colour becomes an architectural tool, giving each room its own identity while maintaining a coherent character throughout the apartment.
