Jeju

Jeju is a Korean restaurant in Vancouver designed by &Daughters around the vernacular architecture, material culture and traditions of Korea’s Jeju Island. Traditional forms are reinterpreted as functional architectural elements, while structures inspired by the island’s thatched houses become sculptural lighting features above the dining areas. Volcanic basalt, cork, polished concrete and warm timber establish an earthy material palette, complemented by layered lighting that creates an intimate and atmospheric dining experience.
